PhantomBot Review 2024

Having a healthy Twitch profile can seriously up your chances of making money through your live streaming efforts.

When you have a lot of stream viewers that are engaged with your stream, you can make some good tips and profits.

It’s important that you engage with your viewers and encourage them, feature them, and invite them to come back. Building a relationship with your Twitch followers and stream viewers is key to success.

While this can be simple if you only have a few viewers, it gets more complicated the more popular your Twitch streams become. You don’t want to miss engagements, but you don’t want to minimize the quality of your streams.

For this reason, you’ll see that many companies have emerged offering Twitch bots to help with not only chat moderation but viewers as well.

Deciding to use a bot on your Twitch channel can be a big decision, and if you choose the wrong one, you can put your Twitch account in a bad place. There are many to choose from, so how do you know if it’s a good choice?

For this reason we’ve investigated the different options out there and we’re bringing you our PhantomBot review today to help make your decision easier.

After reading our review, you’ll understand more about PhantomBot and whether or not it’s a legitimate option for Twitch streaming. Let’s take a look!

Twitch ChatBot?

PhantomBot logo

The biggest problem that we encountered when we looked into PhantomBot was the inability to access their original PhantomBot.tv website.

When you search PhantomBot on Google, that website will appear, but it says that there is no available info for that page. When you click it, it’s just an ad website with nothing about PhantomBot.

This is a common occurrence when a site has had problems with operation and have effectively removed their presence from the web. It’s not surprising, since Twitch bots have been notoriously shamed by the platform itself.

Twitch doesn’t condone the use of bots in an effort to maintain the integrity of its platform and live streams, and it’s probable that many of them will begin to fall with the lack of support and integration from Twitch.

In any case, there is still an available option to find out about PhantomBot on a different website, and it is described as a multipurpose Twitch chat bot. When navigating to this page, however, it doesn’t look much better.

Looks Shady

PhantomBot Dashboard

In fact, when you check out the available website for PhantomBot, you’ll see nothing but a bunch of menu options and text. It almost looks like another advertisement page, but you can see the information is related to PhantomBot.

You’ll see a variety of options including download, discord, control panel, auth generator, and a few more options. It doesn’t give any breakdown of PhantomBot features, nor how it works.

The only thing is that you can’t access the control panel, as it’s locked. In order to do this, you’ll have to log in, which means you’ll have to turn over your Twitch login information to the bot.

This is very sketchy, especially for a website that claims to offer a service but has nothing more than a skeleton of information available to the public. We didn’t feel good about it, and it’s likely that you’re putting your Twitch profile at risk if you decide to indeed provide the login credentials.

It’s understandable that people want a way to streamline their Twitch chat box and make things more exciting for viewers, but PhantomBot doesn’t appear to offer users that in a safe way.

Moreover, everything that a chatbot can do, you can do yourself. It’s much better for your reputation and Twitch performance to perpetuate these engagements yourself; after all, users view your streams to interact with you, not with some robot from the depths of the internet.

When choosing a service that helps your Twitch performance, or any social media performance and growth for that matter, avoid companies like these that offer very little information and want you to provide your credentials.

Review Conclusion

PhantomBot lives up to its name in the sense that it’s almost impossible to find real and valid information about what the service will do for your Twitch channel.

The fact that they are so stingy with information yet require your login credentials to access the bot is a red flag. Don’t put your account at risk, especially for a service that Twitch doesn’t endorse.
