How to Link Instagram and Facebook Accounts: Why Link Instagram with Facebook?
Before we start discussing how to Link Instagram and Facebook accounts, let’s see the benefits of doing so in case you are still not convinced.
- One of the biggest advantages of linking both platforms is that you can share a post on both of them simultaneously and won’t need to make a separate post for each platform. This saves a lot of time and gives you wiggle room to focus on other factors of your business that need your attention. Moreover, this also ensures that the quality of your posts is maintained.
- If you are looking to advertise your brand on Instagram, then you have to link both platforms since all ads are run by Facebook’s Business Manager. Ads are an amazing way to increase the visibility of your business.
- Posting on both platforms increases your reach. Those who are not on Facebook will find your brand on Instagram and those who are not on Instagram will find your page on Facebook. This ensures that a lot of users are getting exposure to your brand and increases the likelihood of them becoming your potential customers.
- Apart from sharing your posts on both accounts, you can also share your Stories on both your accounts. This comes in handy in case you don’t feel like creating different stories for your separate accounts. The option also allows you to choose whether you wish to just share your posts on both accounts or also the Stories on both accounts.
- Linking both your social media accounts also accounts for additional verification. Anyone who has used either Facebook or Instagram knows how stringent security measures they have in place. They are always trying to take down accounts that they find even a little suspicious. You don’t want to be the victim of that. Imagine building your brand on either Facebook or Instagram from scratch and losing it just because you failed to link both of your accounts. Once you link your accounts, it lets the social media giants know that you are a genuine user. This way, they will get off your back and you will not run any risk of losing your account.
- And, last but not the least, linking both accounts help in contact syncing. Whatever updates that happen to your contact information, be it your phone number or email address are synced automatically between both accounts. This ensures that you are keeping track of both accounts at all times.
