British computer scientist and inventor of the internet Tim Berners-Lee auctioned off some source code as an NFT, or non-fungible token. It was purchased by someone for $5.4 million.

The NFT had received 51 bids. The identity of the buyer remains anonymous, and there is no knowing whether they plan to pay in crypto or fiat. The proceeds are set to go to charities supported by Tim and his family.
